Back on track in Malaga

We closed out Granada on a good note; Flamenco. The venue was in a cave house in the gypsy district and was a lot of fun.

Even better was the Dutch couple we met waiting for the show. People are always the best part.

The next day we had a scenic 2 1/2 hour drive to Malaga. Other than driving the wrong way on a one way street in Malaga, all went well with finding the parking for the hotel.

Entrance to the four space parking garage. Car has set for three days.

Malaga is a lively town driven by tourists from all over Europe.

Typical scene at 8:00 at night
Always something going on.

We were able to take in some of the sights.

The cathedral
Picasso museum. He was born in Malaga
Marina with several super yachts
You know it’s a super yacht when the dingy is 30’
City beach.

But the best was our local train trip to Los Alamos beach south of Malaga. Sun, COLD water, and a beautiful beach. A great day.

Sun and a few drinks
COLD water. I managed to venture in three times at a max of 10 minutes total.
Miles of beach in either direction.
Plenty of activities

After baking in the 75 degree heat, we left the beach to seek out the beach grilled fish we had heard so much about.

Success!

After a final evening in the shopping district with drinks and snacks we called it a night.

Tomorrow we drive to our final destination, Seville.
